Randy Tonnellier joined the AWFC in 2023 and will assume the role of Board Treasurer. He has been involved in animal welfare activism for over 20 years and previously served as the Treasurer on the Winnipeg Humane Society’s Board of Directors. He has been an active member of the Winnipeg Vegfest planning committee since its inception in 2016. He is currently the Chair of the Animal Compassion Team and the Animal Protection Committee, of the Winnipeg Humane Society. He has also volunteered at the annual Isla Animals Spay and Neuter Clinic, in Isla Mujeres Mexico, since 2017. Randy retired from his career as Manager of Operations for Winnipeg Transit in 2021. He lives in Winnipeg with his 3 rescue cats and 1 (Mexican) rescue dog.
